Aguachiles Verde

admin May 4, 2020

1-2 lbs of uncooked shrimp peeled and deveined/butterflied

4-6 Serrano Chiles

8-10 lemons

1-2 bushels of cilantro

1 red onion sliced

1-2 cucumbers chopped up

2 Avocados sliced up

1-2 Tablespoons of Jugo (brand Maggies) you can find it in the mexican isle.

*Squeeze the lemon juice over the shrimp enough to cover the shrimp so it cooks in the lemon juice. If not all the shrimp is covered in the juice it’s ok just mix after about 5 minutes so it all gets to cook, you will know when they are cooked when they turn white/see through and a little pink in color(remember to save at least 3 lemons for the sauce), also add Maggie Jugo seasoning and mix around and set aside in the fridge.

*Blend together the juice from the 3 lemons you set aside, serranos, and cilantro then add to the shrimp and mix it in, add salt to taste.

*add sliced purple onions, cucumber and avacado, mix together and ENJOY!!

** Goes really good with tortilla chips or tostadas.
