Nana’s American Chop Suey

Do you like a fresh American Chop Suey ?? This recipe is the best you will ever try ! If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that one of my newest recipes was old-fashioned Goulash ! It has been the most-viewed recipe on my site in the last couple of years of blogging! I also wanted to bring you another incredible one, My Nanas American Chop Suey ! . I only used green peppers but if you want them to be more color you can do red and green

* Ingredients :

° 2 pounds ground beef or turkey

° 2 cloves of minced garlic

° 1/2 large green capsicum, diced

° 1/2 large red pepper, chopped into cubes

° 1 large onion, diced

° 1 teaspoon sugar

° Salt and pepper to taste

° 2 1/2 cups water

° 1/2 cup beef broth

° 1/3 cup olive oil

° 2 cans (15 ounces) tomato sauce

° 2 (15 ounce) diced tomatoes

° 1 Italian seasoning

° 1 tahi of Adobo spice

° 3 bay leaves

° 1 ton spiced salt

° 1/2 ton black pepper

° 2 cups uncooked elbow noodles

* instructions:

In a large frying pan, fry the ground meat in a skillet over a medium-high heat until it is half-cooked, and remove from heat.

Add garlic, onion, pepper and olive oil until the meat is completely soft and the pepper is soft

Add water, broth, tomato sauce, tomato cubes, Italian spices, bay leaves, seasoned salt, pepper, sugar and adobo seasoning. Mix well.

Reduce Heat and Cover – Leave to cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add uncooked elbow noodles to the skillet and stir well until everything is combined

Cover again and let simmer for 30 minutes

Once cooked, remove the bay leaves

(With cheese – optional)
